Lumbering is one of the life skills, allowing the player to obtain logs and exchange them for wooden planks, which are used as ingredients for production.
- Server ratings, Pet, premium status and all item drop chance amplifiers NOT increase the drop chances logs when cutting wood.
To cut wood, you need an ax, which can be purchased from the Blacksmith - John Brown Argente (1433,686). Having equipped the ax to the character, the player needs to go to the tree and click on it with LMB. The character will begin the process of cutting down the forest, which will last 10 seconds, after which the tree will be cut down and disappear. It will take some time before the tree grows again.
Gold Axe
Gold Axe doubles the log drop chance and has limited durability: it breaks after a certain number of hits. The Gold Axe cannot be repaired. It can be purchased in the IM (Other section) for IMPs.How to exchange logs for strips of wood
When cutting down a forest, the character receives logs, and production requires wood planks. Logs of any tree can be exchanged for strips of wood of the same tree at the Timber Merchant in the mines (1101,786) at the rate: 99 logs = 20 planks of wood.
