Crafting is a Life Skill that allows players to create Runestones and Gems.

How to learn Crafting

You can learn the Crafting skill only after completing the storyline quests from the Blacksmith — John Brown (1433,686). He will grant you both the skill and the “Antimatter Crystal,” a non-tradable crafting tool.

How to level up Crafting

The maximum level of the Crafting skill, as well as the Antimatter Crystal, is 3. The Antimatter Crystal gains experience as the player crafts items. Each crafting recipe shows how much experience the crystal will gain after creating items with it.

Once the maximum experience is reached, the crystal can still be used and does not require repairs. The “Repair Tool” is only needed to upgrade the level of the Antimatter Crystal and the Crafting skill. Repair Tools are created through Manufacturing.

After gathering the necessary experience, place the Repair Tool in your inventory and double-click the Antimatter Crystal. After using the tool, both the crystal’s level and your crafting skill level will increase simultaneously.

With Premium Status active, the Antimatter Crystal gains +15% more experience from each recipe.

Additional Attribute from Leveling

For each skill level, your character gains +1 Strength.

How to Craft

The Crafting Level and Crystal Level must match the recipe level

To craft, you must first obtain a Blueprint. The Crafting level (and the Antimatter Crystal level) must match or exceed the recipe’s level. For example, using a Level 3 Crystal allows you to craft items with Level 1–3 blueprints, but not Level 4 ones.

You must gather three ingredients listed in the blueprint and the required amount of Fairy Coins. Then go to the Great Furnace in Argent (1532,737), place all items correctly, and click “Start.” A Fairy Pet is not required for crafting. The success rate of all blueprints is 100%. Each blueprint can be used only once.

Where to get Crafting Ingredients

Obtain via Analyze.
Obtain by killing common monsters.
Runestones drop from monsters in FC and DW.
Wooden planks can be obtained through Woodcutting.
Emblems, medals, and other components can be purchased with Reputation Points.
Elven Seals and Fairy Coins can be obtained while raising a Fairy Pet.
