Setting

The settings menu is opened by pressing the Esc key

In the game, pressing Esc opens the settings for graphics, music, and display of objects.

Client settings

Fullscreen, Resolution, and Scaling

On - Fullscreen mode

Off - Windowed mode

Select a screen resolution that best suits your monitor.

Scaling enlarges objects in the game window. This is useful if your monitor resolution is higher than 1920x1080.

Volume settings

When you start the game, even at 0% volume, the music continues to play quietly until you enter a character.

To completely turn off the music, you need to open the game folder Tales of Pirates\music\ and delete 15 files: from "01.ogg" to "15.ogg".

Type cameras

On (version 2) - the player can zoom in on the camera by holding RMB.

Off (version 1) - the player not can zoom in on the camera by holding RMB.

Camera height

Determines level the camera's approach and distance from the ground.

Effects panel

On - display the panel of effects affecting the character.

Off - do not display effects that affect the character.

Character movement

On - synchronize the character's location with the server.

Off - the game client predicts the character's location without waiting for a response from the server.

Animation speed

Speeds up the playback of animations that play when using skills. The setting came to replace the “anti-animation” tweak.

Disable auto-attack

On - Characters holding a staff or dagger cannot attack with a regular auto-attack, only when holding Ctrl.

Off - Basic attacks with a staff or dagger work as usual.

Information display settings

Always displayed player names

On - displays the names of players, their stripes HP without holding Shift.

Off - player names and HP stripes are not displayed without holding Shift.

Always displayed monster names

On - displays the names of monsters and their bars HP without holding Shift.

Off - monster names and HP stripes are not displayed without holding Shift.

Always displayed item names

On - displays the names of objects that fell to the ground without holding Shift.

Off - the names of objects on the ground are not displayed unless you hold down Shift.

Always displayed yellow loot

On - displays objects on the ground that have the yellow bag model.

Off - yellow bags are not displayed on the ground.

This does not affect auto-matching from pet. The pet will still pick up an item that is enabled in your filter, even if it is not displayed in the client. Be careful, you may miss some items that are important to you by turning off the bags. Make sure you have your pet and it is set to pick up items with yellow bags that might interest you. You can add items to your pet's loot filter through the in-game database.

Lighting own/alien in PK(PvP)

On - in the PvP zones under the characters an indication is displayed in the form of a circle with colors:
  • Red - enemy, any character not included in any of the following categories:
  • Green - members of the guild you are a member of.
  • Blue - members of your squad.
  • Purple - members of another guild that is in an alliance with your guild.

Off - circles under characters are not displayed.

Cosmetic settings

Disabling cosmetic settings in some cases can help slightly improve game performance on weaker computers.

Weapon glow display

On - displays the glow and particles around the weapon in which gems is inserted.

Off - the weapon does not display a glow.

Display player costumes

On - displays players' apparel.

Off - apparel is not displayed.

Display mounts

On - displays mount for players outside of safe zones.

Off - mounts are not displayed in combat zones.

To be able to kill monsters without removing the mount, while continuing to receive a bonus to movement speed, you need to turn off the visibility of the mount in the settings during farming. In safe areas of cities, mounts are always visible.

Display fairies for players

On - displays fairies above the players.

Off - fairies are not displayed.

Display wings on players

On - displays wings for players.

Off - wings are not displayed.
