Ascaron Online is a modern private MMORPG project created for fans of the legendary Piratia Online (Tales of Pirates).

The project has taken years of design, development and extensive refinement. Our goal is to preserve the atmosphere of classic Piratia Online and old-school MMORPGs of the 2010s while continuing to improve the technology and add new mechanics, systems, content and modern features.

Ascaron Online is suitable both for Piratia Online veterans and for new players looking for a classic MMORPG that is still actively developed.

Yes. Ascaron Online has an official in-game marketplace where players can buy and sell game items for real money.

A player can list an item directly through the project’s system and, after a successful sale, receive the funds in their balance with the option to withdraw them later.

Player-to-player trading and RMT are therefore integrated directly into the Ascaron Online infrastructure.

That is exactly the concept at the heart of the project.

Ascaron Online preserves the spirit of classic old-school MMORPGs and Piratia Online familiar to players from the late 2000s and early 2010s: character progression, PvP, guilds, world bosses, dungeons, trading and player interaction.

At the same time, the project’s technology has been extensively reworked and continues to evolve. We update the game client, remove limitations of the original game and add dozens of new systems and hundreds of improvements while preserving the recognizable classic Piratia Online gameplay.

Ascaron Online is available on Windows and macOS.

The game client has been significantly improved compared with the original Piratia Online client and uses updated technical components.

As a result, outdated operating-system versions may not be supported. We recommend checking the current Ascaron Online system requirements before installation.

Ascaron Online is an international MMORPG project.

The interface, quests, NPCs and game content are fully localized in English and Russian.

Ascaron Online is based on the MMORPG known to many players as Piratia Online / Tales of Pirates. Over years of development, however, the project has gained a large number of its own technical and gameplay changes.
