Cleric - one of the six main classes in the game. Phyllis and Ami can become Clerics. A Cleric primarily deals magic damage with mid-range skills. She can buff, heal and revive allies, remove negative effects from them, and also deal damage while having good survivability. She can be a support or a support/DPS hybrid.

Pros and Cons of the Cleric

Pros:

+ Strong at leveling and farming from the very start (thanks to AoE damage on monsters), in PvP, and in boss fights, even without strong gear.

+ By increasing only one attribute (Spirit), the Cleric increases damage, survivability (with “Magic Shield” active, damage is dealt to SP instead of HP), and healing power.

+ The best buffer, especially for physical damage classes.

+ Thanks to “Magic Shield”, the Cleric ranks first in effective HP, yielding to the Champion only in terms of Defense and PR, which lets the Champion be hard or impossible to pierce.

Cons:

- When sealed by an enemy Sharpshooter or Seal Master, she becomes useless for a while.

- Farming efficiency depends on monster density at the spawn.

Which Attributes to Level

The primary attribute for a Cleric that the player should raise to the maximum (100) is Spirit. Additional attribute: Constitution. If you need to reset stat points, you can purchase stat reset potions in the IM for IMPs.

Main Equipment

Up to level 45 you can use gear from the Beginner’s Chest. After that, you should level the Unseals you receive along the storyline. In equipment, prioritize bonuses to Spirit first, then to Constitution, Max SP, SP Recovery, and Defense. More details can be found on the Equipment page. Additional Equipment

  • The most suitable fairy pet for a Cleric is a 1st- or 2nd-generation pet with Spirit.
  • The most suitable stat for a hand pet is +3% Spirit.
  • Any mount.
  • Rings. Among normal rings, the most suitable for a Cleric are those that give a Defense bonus. Among unique rings, the best are Rings with a Spirit Gem.
  • Necklaces. Among normal necklaces, the best for a Cleric is one that gives a Physical Resistance bonus. Among unique necklaces, the best is a necklace with a Spirit Gem.
