Crusader is one of the 6 main classes in the game. Lance and Phyllis can be Crusaders. A Crusaders primarily deals physical damage with close-range auto-attacks and usually uses two one-handed swords.

Pros and Cons of the Crusader

Pros:

+ Highest attack speed, DPS, and evasion.

+ As the server and the character progress, the Crusader’s DPS scales more and more.

+ Has some of the most useful skills.

  • Illusion slash deals high damage at range and has a fast cooldown.
  • Stealth allows you to become invisible.
  • A stun that immobilizes the opponent for a long time.

Cons:

- Despite high HP and Defense growth comparable to a Champion, it is still fairly “squishy” compared to other classes.

- A very popular class, so gear and Gems for Crusaders are usually more expensive than for other classes.

- To start performing well in PvP, farming, and leveling, you’ll need to invest in the character’s equipment.

Which Stats to Level

The primary stat for a Crusader to max first (100) is Strength. Secondary stats: Agility and Constitution. Early on, distribute free stat points evenly between Strength and Agility until, with gear, Agility reaches 54. After that, increase only Strength. The key metric to watch is Attack Speed. The maximum damage of “Illusion slash” is reached at 210 attack speed. Aim to eventually achieve 210 attack speed passively (without Berserk and without buffs) through gear. If you need to reset extra Agility or Strength, you can buy stat reset potions in the IM for IMPs.

Crusader Equipment

Core Gear

Up to level 45, a Crusader can use the newbie chest gear. After that, look for level-45+ gear that drops from equipment summon scrolls. On gear, look for bonuses to Strength, Agility, and Constitution; on boots—Evasion; on gloves—Hit Rate; on swords—min/max Attack, Attack Speed, Hit Rate; on armor—Defense. Universal gear from Dusty Chests (Lv.60) and 55-level seals is also viable. See Equipment for details.

Additional Gear

  • The most suitable fairy pet for a Crusader is a 1st- or 2nd-generation pet with Strength.
  • Best stat for a hand pet is +3% physical damage.
  • Any mount.
  • Rings. Among regular rings, those that grant Hit Rate are best for Crusaders. Among unique rings, Rings with a Strength gem are the most suitable.
  • Necklaces. Among regular necklaces, the best is one with Physical Resistance. Among unique necklaces, the best is a necklace with a Strength gem.
